Revival?
I started this blog in January of 2003 (January 23rd, to be exact) when I was an eighth grader who was just about to finish up her last semester in middle school. Look how the time has flown by - I am now less than two weeks away from moving into my dorm room and becoming an official college freshman!
Thinking about how much of my angst-ridden teenaged years is recorded in this blog is mind blowing, to say the least. Up until the summer before my senior year of high school, I faithfully wrote (sometimes completely nonsensical things, but I still wrote) about the things that were going on in my life and the random thoughts that were running through my mind in this very blog. Altogether, there have been 1206 posts.
So much has changed since I started blogging, which really should not be surprising because I was only thirteen back then and I am almost eighteen now. As embarrassing as most of my old posts are, I am still glad to have something to look back on to remind me of all the things that were important to me at different points in my life.
I have never been much of a journal-keeper - luckily, blogging turned out to be the perfect solution for me!
Now that college is about to start, I am thinking about reviving this old (but very sentimental) blog of mine to record the next four years worth of rants so I will have something familiar with me as I plunge into my next big life-adventure. I will poke around the Blogger site to get a feel of all the new features and updates I missed in my year away before I make any big moves though!
